Emotional Intelligence in the Digital Age: AI-Driven CBT and Biofeedback for Personalized Mental Wellness

As a first relatively short experiment in ‘can I use this thing for something useful’ I decided to bounce the idea of using AI and biofeedback to enhance and augment personalized mental health programs using ChatGPT as a sounding board. The result is below. I’m not going to edit the output. I won’t polish the result. As rough as the idea is, my experience using the tool as a ‘thought companion’ also reinforced the idea that these things could be used in the mental health space.
While this is just a personal gateway into a discussion on the use of AI in mental wellness, what came out of this short experiment was that for someone who needs a sounding board, and who wants to quickly get ideas out of his head an onto paper, this was an amazing tool to go from a question, to relatively not entirely terribly laid out mental exercise in a few days worth of prompting, research and re-prompting.
